Hair has always been a symbol of beauty and seduction. Nowadays, men and women suffer from hair loss. This can be due to inheritance, age, illness, poor diet or simply stress. The shampoos sold in the trade are not always good for our hair, therefore, the use of natural products is essential to keep a beautiful hair.
Losing her hair is the worst thing that can happen to a woman since she considers her hair as her main asset of seduction; it could even reduce her self-confidence. In France, almost 2 million women suffer from moderate alopecia.
Causes of hair loss
Many factors can cause hair loss:
Menopause
The massive decrease in ovarian secretions results in an 80% loss of estrogen (female hormones), which creates an imbalance to make way for androgen hormones (male hormones). This results in hair loss.
Childbirth
Hair loss after childbirth is called “reactive hair loss” and is due to a hormonal imbalance. The hormones estrogen that increase during pregnancy, decrease considerably after childbirth, which leads to abnormal hair loss.
Unbalanced diet
Hair reflects what we eat on our plates. A deficiency of vitamins and nutrients automatically affects the health of our hair. Vitamin B5 and vitamin B8 are essential for the beauty of our hair, which is found primarily in the liver, mushrooms or lentils. It is the same for iron, a determining factor in the oxygenation of the blood, which makes hair dull and brittle. Iron is found in lentils, oysters, liver and even dark chocolate.
The stress
In this context, the hormonal factor still plays a preponderant role. Stress leads to an imbalance of the adrenal glands in favor of androgen hormones and disrupts the life of the hair. This phenomenon is more present in people who have a terrain sensitive to inheritance. The stresses of everyday life cause long-term hair loss, while the brutal stress caused by shock, for example, will cause the hair to fall rapidly after the incident.
It is essential to avoid subjecting our hair to hair treatments by using expensive shampoos and not necessarily good for our already fragile hair since they contain many chemicals.
The best solution is to use a homemade natural shampoo. It is made from a neutral pH shampoo or an organic shampoo to which we will add three important ingredients like organic rosemary essential oil and organic lemon essential oil as well as vitamin E capsules.
Rosemary oil
Used externally, rosemary cineole essential oil is known to stimulate hair growth and reduce stress and arthritis pain. Its nutritional properties are due to the active compounds present in the flowers of Rosmarinus officinalis cineoliferum. By adding rosemary oil in the shampoo, an improvement in the blood circulation of the scalp is felt and the hair becomes stronger.
Lemon oil
Lemon is a great source of vitamin C, folic acid, vitamin B and essential minerals. As a result, lemon oil helps regulate the neutral pH of the scalp by helping to reduce hair loss and dandruff. In addition, it brings shine to the hair and contains antiseptic properties without forgetting its refreshing scent.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is rich in antioxidants that strengthen the immune system and blood circulation throughout the body, including the scalp. As a result, it stimulates hair growth, increases its shine and hydrates dry ends.
