Before applying any homemade facial mix on the face, you should make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.
Egg and yogurt
It is perfect for dry, oily or normal skin, and has a fabulous moisturizing effect. You must mix two egg whites and two tablespoons of unflavored yogurt. Apply the mixture on the face for 10 minutes and remove with warm water.
Honey and yogurt
Mix two tablespoons of honey with a spoonful of yogurt, until a thick paste is left. Apply on the face and let it rest for 20 minutes. If you have a very dry skin, you can apply this paste twice a week. You will notice a great improvement.
Milk and camomile
This preparation is perfect for sensitive faces or with sunburn. Both ingredients refresh and nourish, in addition to relieving the burning sensation. Boil a bag of chamomile tea in half a cup of water, let it rest for a few minutes and mix it with half a cup of cold milk. This lotion is applied with the help of a cotton and you can use it several times a day.
Coffee and olive
This preparation is an excellent exfoliant. The eraser of the coffee is used to eliminate the swelling and restore the complexion to an opaque complexion. After preparing the coffee as usual, take the residue and mix it with a few tablespoons of water or olive oil. Stir until you get a paste, apply it, let it act for 15 minutes and then remove with circular movements.
Egg and honey
It is ideal for all skin types, it is a very nutritious mixture that can be used as an exfoliant. Mix an egg yolk with a spoonful of honey until you get a smooth paste. It should be applied on the skin with the fingers, avoiding the area around the eyes. This sticky mixture helps eliminate dead cells, while nourishing the skin. After letting it rest a few minutes, rinse the face with warm water. You will notice that your skin is very soft.
Water
Cold water is one of the simplest ways to revitalize a tired looking complexion, as it stimulates blood circulation. You will notice that the complexion looks much healthier and fresher. This mask is ideal to reduce dark spots on the skin. Mix the juice of half a lemon with an egg white.
Avocado and cream
Avocados are used to exfoliate the skin in a soft and natural way. Take the seed of an avocado and grate it into thin pieces. You should mix this zest with a little cream and apply it, in circular movements, as if you were polishing it. If you do not have cream you can use yogurt or crushed avocado pulp. Once the process is finished, rinse well with warm water.
Cucumber and thyme
These two ingredients offer a surprising anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action, so they are widely used to soothe red or irritated skin. Place a small cucumber in the blender and add some fresh thyme leaves. Apply the preparation, avoiding the eyes and leave for 10 minutes. Subsequently remove the mask with cold water.
Papaya
Papaya is a fruit that contains papain, an enzyme that gently dissolves dead cells, softens and whitens the skin. Papaya juice also helps treat the swelling caused by acne and prevents infection, that’s why papaya is a perfect ingredient to help exfoliate the skin and treat acne. Prepare a pureed papaya pulp in the blender and apply and let it act for about 10 or 15 minutes, always avoiding the area around the eyes. After that time rinse with warm water.
Oats and baking soda
You should mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and a teaspoon of baking soda, add little by little drops of water until you get a thick paste. Rub in small circles on damp skin, then rinse well with warm water and dry. It is ideal for oily skin.
Lemon and egg white
This mask is ideal to reduce dark spots on the skin. Mix the juice of half a lemon with an egg white. Apply a thin layer on the face. Leave on overnight, then rinse with warm water in the morning. It is perfect for all skin types.
Banana and yogurt
Step or grind a very ripe banana and mix it with half a cup of plain yogurt and 1 teaspoon of honey. Apply a thin layer on the face and leave on for ten minutes, then rinse with warm water. The face will be hydrated and soft. Perfect for dry skin
Cucumber and sugar
Step or grind a cucumber and add a spoonful of sugar and mix well. Leave in a container with lid in the refrigerator. Once cool, apply on damp skin, rubbing in small circles, and leave on for ten minutes. Rinse with cold water and dry. It can be used on the knees and elbows as a body scrub too. It is ideal for all skin whitening.
Grape
Cut two or three grapes refrigerated in half and rub gently on the skin, avoiding the eyes. Apply on the lips too. Rinse with cold water and dry. Perfect for hot days. Suitable for oily, dry or normal skin.
