The summer hairstyles 2019 rediscover the simplicity of crops such as chignon and low tail. Among the novelties we find the hairlook made by Eugene Souleiman GHD ambassador for the Dion Lee fashion show at the New York Fashion Week.
The gathered hair evokes a strong style, slightly aggressive but nevertheless feminine and never masculine. Souleiman commented on her new hairstyles 2019, saying: “I wanted to bring a touch of novelty, but without being extravagant or avant-garde”.
Low Chignon
The 2019 spring hairstyles want a clean face with a bare forehead. For GHD the hair should be pulled back with small torchon regardless of accuracy! In fact, the new trends prefer soft harvest for a destructured look with semi-uncombed effect.
The low bun remains small, with no added volume. The hair is rolled up without stopping the end. This style is perfect for scaled hair that is held back by U-shaped hairpins. The end of the tail remains deliberately free to accompany the small elusive locks.
Chignon Spettinato
For the Olivier show Theyskens GHD presents untidy bundles with elusive strands standing behind the ears. The destructured chignon seems to be discarded while being stopped by a branch (to be replaced with rods and pins). Romantic flakes stop the free lengths.
Low Tail With Braids
Eugene Souleiman also signs the hairstyles of the Preen fashion show. A wild, intriguing look is preferred: ‘I created a look that seems to have spent two days in the scorching heat of the desert wearing a hat,’ says the hairstylist.
Side braids, low tail and wavy tufts that frame the face. The black hat elastics tighten the hair in a long low tail up to about half the head, leaving the final tufts free.
Hairstyles Long Hair
Long hair is left loose between wet effects and natural waves while the line is always central!
Also small braids not visible to the eye but give texture and volume to the hair. This is a new restyling for long or medium hair to combine for example with the classic ponytail.
