Masks for damaged hair: discover the natural ingredients

It is important to take care of the hair, most of the time the lack of time does not allow you to do it, but it does not take much time. Even if there is no time to go to the hairdresser, you can do hair beauty treatments at home, let’s find out how.

1- Laurel mask: recommended for damaged and brittle hair. Prepare the mask by boiling the leaves of the time in a saucepan. It takes about 5. Add 6 tablespoons of neutral henna, a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil and one of seed oils. Apply the mask on the hair and leave for at least an hour and rinse and proceed with the usual shampoo.

2- Mask with olive oil and honey: useful in case of hair damaged and damaged by the sun, in fact olive oil and honey have emollient, moisturizing and regenerating properties. In a bowl, put 2 spoons of honey and 3 of olive oil, with a spatula, mix well, you must obtain a homogeneous. 3- Sage and basil mask: strengthens the hair and gives vitality, in a blender, put a cup of basil leaves, a spoonful of jojoba oil and 3 drops of rosemary essential oil. With a spatula, mix well, then add 100 g of neutral henna and a little sage infusion, apply over the entire foliage and leave for a couple of hours. Rinse and proceed with the shampoo.

4- Castor oil mask: put in a bowl 3 tablespoons of white clay, 2 tablespoons of castor oil, 2 tablespoons of shea butter and 3 tablespoons of honey. Mix well and you will need to obtain a consistency that can be applied to all hair and leave on for at least 30 minutes and then rinse with green tea infusion and proceed with shampoo.

5 – Arnica hair mask: recommended for brittle hair that tends to fall out. In a small bowl, put an egg yolk with 3 tablespoons of honey, then pour 3 drops of arnica essential oil and 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Form a dough, then add 100 g of neutral henna, apply to all hair and leave for a couple of hours, then rinse and proceed with shampoo.

6- Henna and banana mask: olive oil is also added, for its emollient and moisturizing properties, while the banana deeply nourishes the root and hair, thanks to vitamins and mineral salts. With this mask you avoid the formation of split ends, giving shine to the hair. In a bowl, put 100 g of neutral henna powder and hot water, mix until a creamy paste is obtained. Cut a peeled banana and puree it, then add to the mixture and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Apply to hair and massage gently, leave on for 50-60 minutes, it is recommended to cover with a cap. Then proceed with a restructuring shampoo.

7- Mask with olive oil and rosemary: recommended when the hair has been damaged after dyeing and bleaching treatments. Olive oil thanks to its nourishing substances deeply nourishes, while the essential oil of rosemary reinforces the root. In a small bowl, put 30 ml of extra virgin olive oil and 10 drops of rosemary essential oil, applied on damp hair and leave on for 45 minutes. Then proceed with the mild and natural shampoo.

8- Green clay and corn starch mask: also recommended for oily hair. Green clay helps to give hair a better appearance, especially if greasy, known and appreciated for its disinfectant and purifying properties. Corn starch, on the other hand, has an absorbent power, apple vinegar is added to these two ingredients.

It plays an important role as it balances the natural pH of the scalp. In a saucepan put 2 tablespoons of green clay, one of corn starch, one of apple vinegar and 5 drops of thyme essential oil, which has an astringent and vasoconstrictor action. Heat everything and if necessary add hot water, until the mixture is pasty. Apply the mixture obtained on the whole hair from the roots to the lengths, then cover with a shower cap and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse well and proceed with a specific shampoo.

9- Yogurt and olive oil mask: useful in case of brittle and dull hair. A mix of perfect ingredients that moisturizes the scalp and hair. In a small bowl, put a jar of white yogurt and two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, mix and then apply to all the hair and leave for at least an hour and then rinse.

10- Mask with coconut oil, sweet almonds and flax seeds: for brittle hair that has lost its shine and has split ends. Vegetable oils are known to be allies of the hair because they nourish deeply and give softness and luminosity.In a small bowl, mix 20 ml of coconut oil, 20 ml of sweet almond oil and 20 ml of flax seed oil. Apply the mask on damp hair and leave for an hour, then proceed with a mild shampoo.
