1- Mask for oily hair: sodium bicarbonate is an ally for oily hair, because it acts as a regulating sebum. It is also recommended for people who have discomfort and itchy scalp or dandruff problems. Add the lemon and aloe vera to the baking soda, the former has a disinfectant action, while the aloe vera has an anti-inflammatory action.
Put the lemon juice in a bowl, 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, with a spoon mix well. Add some water and then apply to the hair and then put on a shower cap. Leave for 20 minutes and proceed with washing.
2- Shampoo: the baking soda can be used as a shampoo, in case of oily hair and hair get dirty very easily. Very effective, even in the case of scalp that produces excess sebum. You can safely try to make the shampoo with the baking soda, in a glass of hot water add a teaspoon of baking soda, stir, you have to get a creamy consistency. Leave to cool and then apply on the root and do gentle massages, then rinse with water and apple cider vinegar.
The hair will be shiny and shiny, in case of not excessively greasy hair, try adding a little aloe vera gel if you have at home.
3- Shampoo for very oily hair: in case of very oily hair both at the root and at the ends, try to prepare a shampoo with bicarbonate. In a bottle with the spray, put 200 ml of water and 18 g of bicarbonate, shake well, then a quarter of an hour before the usual shampoo, spray it on damp hair. Use your fingertips to massage, so the skin will absorb, then proceed with the usual shampoo.
4- Conditioner: the bicarbonate, added to the conditioner makes the conditioner more effective, makes the hair softer and frizz-free. Partly mix fair conditioner and baking soda, then apply well on all hair, after rinsing it well and leave for 10 minutes. Proceed with rinsing.
5- Combat dandruff: baking soda acts on the scalp as a disinfectant. Just apply on wet skin, then rinse carefully, or you can add it to shampoo, so as to keep away fungi and bacteria that are responsible for dandruff.
6- Removes products such as lacquers and dyes: baking soda is a perfect ally for removing residues of gel foams, dyes, mousses and styling products.
7- Cleans and refreshes the hair: it helps to cleanse the hair naturally and to keep the hair fresh. The baking soda gives the hair silkiness and brightness. To clean the hair, just wash it first, then detangle and comb it, then dilute a teaspoon of baking soda in 5 tablespoons of water, mix well.
Do a massage, insist on the fatter areas, dilute a spoonful of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and apply from roots to ends. Wash with plenty of lukewarm water, apply the conditioner and leave for a few minutes before rinsing. Do this with cold water, but if the hair becomes greasy, leave the conditioner on your head for a longer time. If the hair becomes dry instead, reduce the amount of baking soda and apply the essential oils after washing and brush the hair. Try once a week, you will immediately notice the difference.
8- Bleach: useful to eliminate your color, if you no longer like it, prepare a solution of baking soda, salt and lemon juice. In a bowl, add the baking soda and salt in a 2: 1 ratio, put the lemon juice, work until a thick cream is obtained, if it is too thick, add a little warm water. Apply the mixture on the hair you can brush it to distribute it well, then cover with the cap. Leave to rest for an hour and then rinse with water, apply the conditioner.
9- Lighten the hair: try to prepare a mask with bicarbonate cinnamon, honey and lemon juice. Mix them well in equal proportions, then apply them on the hair, wrap them with cling film and leave for a few hours. Rinse with natural shampoo.
10- Stronger hair: bicarbonate is useful in case of brittle and fragile hair, in this case the mask with bicarbonate, natural acids and vegetable fats is ideal. In a bowl mix 15 ml of wine vinegar, 5 g of baking soda and 4 drops of wheat germ oil. Applied only on the lengths, insist on the tips and leave for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and proceed with the shampoo. in this way the hair regains vitality, softness, elasticity and split ends are prevented.
11- Prevents avitaminosis: especially during the change of season, applying a hair mask with baking soda is really useful to recover health and shine, recommended in case of damaged hair. In a bowl, put 5 egg yolks, 15 ml of shea oil and 5 g of baking soda, mix well, then apply to dry hair. Wrap up with the cap and leave overnight, wash your hair the following day.
Baking soda is very useful for hair, but it should be reiterated that it should not be replaced by shampoo, because in the long run it can damage the scalp. In particular, do not apply often on dyed hair, because it removes the color.
